Sara Augustin, Creative Artist

Sara Augustin is a contemporary painter and photographer based in Boynton Beach, FL, renowned for expressive, colorful portraits and serene landscapes.

Born in Boynton Beach, FL, Sara found a love for arts and crafts at a young age through various hobbies. Sara pursued her artistic education on her own by reading art books and refining her skills through online courses and workshops. 

Influenced by artists like Kevin WAK Williams, Whitney Austin, Daria Callie, and Lemon Zhaoxiali, Sara aims to explore the relationship between storytelling and human emotion and challenge the contrast between realism and imagination through an Afrocentric perspective.

Sara employs distinctive brush techniques such as dry brushing, blending, and feathering to create a semi-realistic style of artwork resulting in an immersive spiritual journey and emotional connection to the artwork.

Outside the studio, Sara enjoys traveling abroad, cooking, practicing capoeira (Brazilian martial arts), and studying for a degree in UX design.

Sara is dedicated to her artistic growth and looks forward to owning an art studio, painting murals, and creating an outreach program for youth interested in learning arts and crafts
